We arrived from Changi Airport to Ion Plaza (Orchard Road) by MRT. It took about 1 hour.

Ticket for riding MRT costs about SGD 2.


Also, we are not allowed to eat in MRT.


If you stay around Orchard Road and want to go to the Mall, you only need to walk. No need for calling Taxi. You need to use Underground pass to go to Takashimaya / Lucky Plaza.

It's kinda hard to find people who can speak with a good accent of English in Singapore.

Singapore Lion Key Chain at Lucky Plaza is about SGD 8 for 6pcs.


Some clothes and shoes price at several Mall on Orchard Road is not too much different from the price in Indonesia.

Jangan buru-buru membeli barang karena iming-iming diskon. Karena, beberapa barang Branded tersebut memiliki kualitas yang tidak lebih bagus dari barang yang dijual di Mangga Dua Mall, Indonesia.

Pastikan meminta kertas Tax Refund setiap kamu belanja di Mall. Sebab, Pajak pembelian bisa diganti di loket GST Refund di Airport.

Bugis is an area that sells cheap food.


Cheapest price for a large portion of food at the Mall's is about SGD 5.


For Takoyaki lover: There is Takoyaki Stall at Ion Plaza, B2, it price only SGD 7.5 for 10 pcs. The Takoyaki portion is big and it taste good.

There is ROYCE chocolate that only sold in Singapore and Japan. You can find it on Ion Plaza, B2.

You better buy the ticket for USS from travel or websites. Do not buy the ticket directly on Singapore, because the ticket is often sold out.

They sell a lot of good souvenirs. Postcard price is about SGD 1 .The Key Chain price is about SGD 6 - SGD 10. Shirt Price is around SGD 23 - SGD 29. Mug price is around SGD 11. Doll Price around SGD 23 - SGD 29.

Bring an umbrella or hat in case of rain.

At first, I wasn't sure to post my inner-thought (either it's a bad or good thought).

But then, I was thingking, "I used to write on Diary book. Diary book these day is very small and it's very difficult to write on it. Diary book, a collection of paper.... And come to think of it, spend papers (for writing) is same as global warming.

So, how about writing in a place that doesn't require a paper? " *grin
